Mist

Middlesbrough was subject to some pretty heavy mist in the week leading up to Christmas, and on the 20th it was enough to convince me to grab my camera, run outside and take some moody photos. In hindsight I wish I stayed out longer to have a proper look around, but within minutes of stepping outside I felt as though my internal organs were going to seize up and die from the cold. Brrrrr.

On a semi-related note, I have a Flickr page, and would like to see yours if you have one.

Heroine

After a long, long lull of no drawing whatsoever, I started drawing stuff and wacom-ing something last night, which has evolved into this today [in my favourite essell.org-alike colour scheme]:

This is a work in progress, but I’m already really pleased with it as it is :) She looks nice and solid and three-dimensional and “there”, which I usually have a hard time getting right. Yay.
