I saw Cansei de Ser Sexy play at the Roadhouse in Manchester last night, and they were stupidly, fuckingly good.

Just for you, I took a 3 minute break from jumping around and doing serious damage to my neck, to record the following videoclip of them playing one of their grungier songs, “Art Bitch”.

Unfortunately, this video doesn’t do justice to how great they were. I also didn’t have the space on my memory card to catch them at the end of the show, which means you can’t see the singer running back on stage with a bunch of bananas, throwing them out to the crowd, taking a massive bite of one [skin and all], smushing the rest of a banana all over her face, then performing the encore finale with the wet yellow sludge dripping from her mouth. Sorry.
